分享会：潜在的光谱 by Christopher Branson和Qian Branson. 两位艺术家将分享他们在一起的五年时间里，有意识或无意识情境下记录的艺术创作文本、痕迹和感悟。
The artists will present an overview of the art practice they have developed together over the past 5 years. The title is taken from an intuition based approach to making things which has developed during their time together. It is the name has also functioned as the beginning of Christopher’s self taught painting practice. This making of things has become an every day practise, a continual progression.
We are following the memory of the wonder encountered in ordinary things. Poetry exists in ordinary objects. This distinction between where an idea has started & where it will be taken is something we cannot separate. The heart collecting thought is most often found in Qian. The hands having created is most often found in Christopher. Our projects combine shape, form, light & language through painting, sculpture, collage, illustration, installation, photography, publishing, poetry, writing & various formats of ephemera. We also curate a market, (Magic Carpet Flying Bazaar) offering artist multiples make by us & found objects from our every day travels.
