上海艺术书展开幕分享会第二场：畅谈迈向十周年的东京艺术书展/中岛佑介&东直子，分别是东京艺术书展艺术总监和策展人。 东京艺术书展最初成立于2009年，是日本最早关注和艺术相关的出版物的书展，开启了一个新的独立出版和自出版平台。过去的九年，东京艺术书展逐渐发展成为日本及世界范围内的都非常重要的平台，每年一届的书展成为创作者、出版人在艺术书籍,Zines等多类型出版物上的创新和持续的融汇点，2017年汇集的350多家各地参展单位让TABF成为世界上规模最大的艺术书展之一。
2018年的东京艺术书展停办一年，为了迎接她在2019年春天的十周年纪念，在新的场地新的内容。东京艺术书展两位主要负责人亲自来到上海艺术书展现场，作为开幕嘉宾对迈向十周年的东京艺术书展发表演讲，畅谈创办东京艺术书展十年的历程与分享延迟至明年春天举办的TABF十周年内容策划；这将是东京艺术书展第一次公开其十周年策划，他们希望明年东京艺术书展十周年展场上出现更多来自中国艺术出版的身影和来自中国的艺术书籍作品。欢迎大家踊跃报名参加两位嘉宾的开幕演讲。
The TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR, originally established in 2009, came into being as the first book fair event focused around art-related publications in Japan – welcoming 70 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors throughout the three days of its inauguration. Over the last nine fairs, we have seen the TABF gain further prominence as a platform: serving as a point of convergence for creators and publishers of innovative artbooks, catalogues, artists’ books, and zines. It has steadily expanded to welcome over 350 exhibitors and over 23,000 visitors, evolving into one of the largest art book fairs in the world.
In this talk event, Yusuke Nakajima (director) and Naoko Higashi (project manager) will talk about how TABF has developed so far and also what step they are willing take next.
