THURSDAY-FREE
主讲人：邵维 平面设计师，插画师。现居上海。THURSDAY-FREE 不含周四视觉设计工作室 & 独立出版组织联合创始人。2015年毕业于伦敦中央圣马丁艺术学院 Communication Design 硕士专业，同年毕业作品 Blank City 参展伦敦设计周。2016年绘画作品 In a Room 参展北京设计周。2018年联合创立 THURSDAY-FREE 工作室，工作室通过平面设计，摄影，插画和装置等领域的混合，建立故事和视觉语言。他们开启自发与合作项目，注重研究与实验的创作方法。至现在，THURSDAY-FREE 已独立出版作品十二本。
Wei Shao is a Chinese Shanghai-based graphic designer and illustrator, who is also the co-founder of THURSDAY-FREE, a visual design studio and independent publishing. Wei Shao graduated from MA Communication Design of Central Saint Martins of College of Arts & Design. Her graduation work has been exhibited at the London Design Festival 2015. And her acrylic painting series, In a Room has exhibited at Beijing Design Week 2016. In 2018, Wei Shao has co-founded THURSDAY-FREE, through graphic design, photography, illustration and installation design, building stories and visual language. THURSDAY-FREE has worked on self-initiated and cooperated projects, focusing on researching and experimental creating methods. Until now, THURSDAY-FREE has published twelve independent publications.

① THURSDAY-FREE 01 | Fictions & Objects 故事变现
2019年下半年，在工作室建立一年后，我们出版了工作室的第一本独立出版物，也是工作室的第一个自发项目，THURSDAY-FREE 01 | Fictions & Objects，这是一个带有想象色彩的项目，常有人我问我们工作室的名字为什么是不含周四？周四对我们来说有一个警示作用，我们希望一周时间里至少有一天可以思考自由、创作自由。我们希望建立对想象力无限制的 Much-free 世界，将源于日常生活的 -free 概念，转变为更有趣的叙事文本和物件作品。THURSDAY-FREE 01 | Fictions & Objects 是一系列虚拟故事与物件组合，来源于对当下实事多个方面的关注，包括建筑、城市、生命、人类行为等…通过有逻辑却又毫无逻辑的视角展开。
THURSDAY-FREE 01 is a series of Fictions & Objects. Through a logical but illogical view, we keep an eye on several contemporary issues including city, life and human behaviours.
② ANIMALISM 动物主义 | THURSDAY-FREE 02
在未来，地球陆续出现热带雨林代替广阔平原、冰期沙漠、盐地盐海、高空和土层成为庇护所等环境，在这样的环境中生活着一群未来动物。
In the future, new environments are informing, including the Ice Age of Desert, Salt Sea and Land, Upper-Air and Soil Layer, which are becoming to be the best shelters. There are a group of future animals are living in.
③ The Fake Park 假公园
欢迎来到假公园。The Fake Park 假公园描绘的是公园中的居民：像人不像人的人体，像树不像树的树，像球的几何圆形，像石头却重量可疑的石头，以及近乎带来完美平衡视觉感受的荒谬雕塑。鼓励观者质疑画面中雕塑式组合式的居民形象，鼓励观者质疑假公园的真实性。全书以A3幅面为单位依次复印整幅作品各个部分，以26张截取式画面呈现，带你走进假公园。
Welcome to The Fake Park. The Fake Park depicts a series of inhabitants who are living in: there are several human figures who are like mannequins; several trees are like sculptures, several spheres what are like geometric rounds, several rocks with concerning weights and several ridiculous perfect-balanced installations. The Fake Park is encouraging the readers to question the sculpted combined inhabitants and encouraging the readers to question the reality of The Fake Park. Photocopying the whole drawing by following the A3 frame, being presented into twenty-six cut pictures. Taking you into the Fake Park.

The Dogs 是一本关于独特状态狗们的图形目录, 狗们是来自我的另一系列铅笔绘画 The Fake Park假公园 中的居民之一。
The Dogs is a visual catalogue about a group of specific dogs, who are ones of the inhabitants, coming from a series of my pencil drawing: The Fake Park.
