Becoming a wilder space: about AIMEI ART Talk
爱美讲座自2018年6月第一期开始至今已举办41期，讲座嘉宾来自五湖四海、主题自由，共同的交集是“美学”。达芬奇的美学之路从画鸡蛋开始，鸡蛋的轮廓是个椭圆，而艺术探索的过程似在不断地画圆——作为无限多边形，意味着开发美的语言潜力是无限的。本场演讲将分享爱美讲座的一些趣事、讲座带给艺术教育的一些思考、和正在发酵的关于美的一些实验。
AIMEI Talk series has had their 41th issue of lecture since June of 2018. Lecturers from all over the world have come to speak and share their thoughts surrounding the topic of ‘aesthetics‘. Leonardo da Vinci started his journey of art by practising drawing eggs. The silhouette of eggs is an ellipse, this shape without any edges, signifies the endless possibilities and opening up a wider space for discovering the language of aesthetics. Likewise the search and digging into fine art can be a new perspective of continuously drawing ellipses. This lecture is going to share some interesting stories happened with AIMEI Talk what this series of lectures has brought to the thinking of art education, and some ‘marinating’ experiments to do with art and beauty.
