KNUST PRESS 是位于荷兰最古老的城市奈梅根 (Nijmegen) 的一家艺术出版社和孔版印刷 (RISOGRAPH) 工作室，创办人Jan Dirk de Wilde 和 Joyce Guley 从80年代中期即开始使用这种适合小型工作室的印刷技术用于自己的 zines 与海报印刷。孔版印刷（Stencil Printing）是一种在现代印刷机未普及前常用的印刷方式，曾在20世纪20-30年代流行于法国，极大地影响并促进了新艺术和装饰艺术的发展。KNUST PRESS 研究孔版印刷多年，并通过孔版印刷在工作室推动多个艺术项目，在其所驻扎的艺术建筑空间 Extral Pool 里进行着多个孔版印刷技术为主导的出版项目，如世界范围内都知名的 Art Prison Residency 艺术家驻地计划、Working Holiday 艺术家印刷申请计划、墙纸印刷计划、自主研发新油墨色彩、同时还拥有 A2 Risograph 印刷机协助其更大尺寸的书籍和海报印张项目，其对RISO的深入了解和研究已超出我们的想象，在行业内备受推崇和赞誉。我们希望通过此展览的举办，去寻找能让这项对印刷和书籍设计事业可维持几十年之久的热爱源头，从80年代，90年代，到当下，所有Risograph印刷作品、项目对这家世界知名的艺术出版社和其所犹如涟漪（ripples) 般对各方面和艺术家成长所产生影响。特有的油墨和印刷带来那个年代特有的设计语言和海报风格，不受出版商和编辑干预的自由艺术家书，致敬那些希望通过印刷和自己的作品来改变二十世纪末视觉世界的一群理想主义者。欢迎您书展三日来香蕉鱼书店看展！

We are hornored to present to public a history archive of 35 years’ risograph books&prints by Nijmegen based stencil printer KNUST PRESS, founded by Jan Dirk de Wilde & Joyce Guley.Since mid of 1980s, KNUST PRESS had the risograph machine for its self-publishing projects and from then on, they constantly cause ripples of its worldwide fame and expand the beauty of Stencil Printing to a broader outside circle. KNUST PRESS, in a modern, artitstic and graphic direction, revived and revitalized the traditional stencil printing technique since 1984 and as a risograph studio from 2011, Bananafish would like to trace back and find out how the passion and love for the technique stands for.For the archive exhibition in Bananafish Gallery, it is going to be the first time to open the time box and highlight a 35 years risograph books, prints, posters and paper installations, selected by Jan Dirk de Wilde and Joyce Guley exclusively for Bananafish Gallery. It is also one of the most important exhibitions BANANAFISH BOOKS curates for UNFOL 2019 Shanghai Art Book Fair. Welcome to the riso heaven!
